Hosta

Hosta

The snails have already found it, I'm afraid. (The white splashes are sunlight)

I shall need to pot it on this year ...

Whoops - that was silly of me - of course I don't 'like' this photo . . . where is the 'unlike' button?!

Hope you can save the Hosta Susanne.

Thank you, Barbara - I hope it's not going to get much worse, but it probably will!

I'm always "liking" things I regret, Sheila! There really should be some way of reversing it, like there is on Facebook. No problem. And, between ourselves, I still enjoy the hosta even though it's nibbled. It's a lovely colour and shape. After I repot it later this year, I expect it to increase in size. I've had it for years, since it was tiny, and every time I move it on, it has a growth spurt.

Not that many leaves are holy! You might be able to remove them and then it will look even better...if you can stop the blighters getting at it again.

They managed to eat the whole hosta when they found one of mine!

They ARE the enemy!!

Is that Blue Boy? One of my faves. It's quite tiny by comparison... Also have a Bressingham Blue and it's just HUGE this year.

I can't remember - I've had it for years! I think it might be Blue Moon.
