Cotinus . . .

. . . finally in full leaf for the summer

Both of my Cotinus have been cut hard back this year...not by me..they just only grew from their bases. Very disappointed.

. . and I thought that it was one of those shrubs that could be cut back with abandon . . bad luck :(

Yup...tricky up here. Although this dark one seems a lot more robust.
