What a super and interesting plant. Unfortunately the flowers are hidden under the leaf axils.

Beautiful , something I've never grown , probably needs moist shade does it? ,mines very dry under the trees the huge horse chestnuts take all the moisture .

Mine is under an apple tree, hardly the same as a horse chestnut, that must suck out the moisture. Dottydaisy's plant leaves are much greener than mine. This is just 1 year old, bought after seeing hers, really like it.

I have to say I do love this plant....so different, hoping it will double in size next year...

Double in width? Quoted as growing 30 cm high, have moved mine once because it was bigger than I expected.

What great pictures Siris, hasn't it grown well, even after moving, how do your plants grow so well?

Cause I leave them alone usually. Lol

Thank you Dawn, the App solves the problem of my portrait pics emerging on their side when view not on an iPad. But the pics have too many bytes to be downloaded now onto Goy so I have to email them to myself to reduce the size. Rather a palaver.

The effect is great though. I looked under the leaves again today, alas, no flowers :-(

3rd July, desiccating flowers still under the leaves, do I leave or cut off, sure the won't produce viable seed.

Well Siris, you're a master propagator so I will watch this space!

Don't have the equipment to do tissue culture, if that is how they were originally produced.

Tissue culture? Wow, never heard of that!
