Athyrium x 'Oceans Fury'

Funny little thing, probably grows on you.

These do not do well with us, have lost several, which is a shame...

Like its little 'fingers' at the end of each frond.

Lol yes look like they might grab you .
I love the painted ferns they light it up a bit in the wood now the leaves are on the trees :-)
I had a weird thing happen on an Asplenium suddenly its developed cresting on the ends of the leaves , well till I looked at the label and found its cristatum it must just be maturing looks like two different plantts some leaves with crests some without.

That's the beauty of ferns.........each and everyone individual.....
