We've seen a drastic decline in butterflies of all species, M. It's really sad. The yellow swallowtail is doing the best of all..but haven't seen any Admirals, Monarchs or Viceroys...yet. Lots of dragon flies still. They are very plentiful but nearly impossible to photograph in flight...they are so fast! I tried to get a pic of a cloud of them but it just looks like an out-of-focus pic with these golden glimmers everywhere!
Thanks Karen and Simbad!

I so miss the swallowtails, seen very few butterflies this year. But better weather on the way this week, so might be more around, the fact that my garden has been very bare so far hasnt helped the wildlife. Lots of planting going on now though. Not too mention lots of spending!
