The one behind, Kathy, is the T.A.N. iris. amazingly beautiful and hardy. This is the first full season for the Grape Kool-ade (my name) haven't a clue what the proper var. is. It has a very soft sweet scent that kinda reminds me of grape Kool-ade and the flower colour is a grape purple. The orris root, variegated iris is next to it... It had a weevil in the roots last year... I lifted them...cleaned them up as best I could and found them a new spot...turns out that spot is a bit too dry as they're being very slow about blossoming, but at least there are no weevils...so far.
