I have a mad man with a chainsaw , if you don't take him I'll have no trees left, caught him eyeing another yesterday .

There is hazel to the north of it... and huge firs behind it... yes. it may be a bit of a job but the poor thing is so spindly that it's not unrealistic to think in terms of years to recovery.
I'll have to post some pics of the activities of the Ontario Hydro on our property. to protect the lines from trees falling across them they have taken out two medium size oaks and at least three maples! They left the sodding ash trees which are a curse and took my oaks! (sorry for the profanity.) I need a convention of chainsaw weilders to help clean up my forest. Too bad it involves trans-Atlantic flight or you might have a deal on your hands...take his mind off of your lovelies, Kathy. Sending him to Janey's trees might be a very good idea! I have to take my little chainsaw into the dealer to get it tuned up...then I'm off...up the hill.
