This is so beautiful I have a couple of buds about to open but iits one the gall midge love !! I could cry , if I remember rightly though it did rebloom last year :-)
Gg has had success with provado vine weevil killer on gall midge so next year I'll be using it on the ones that are worst affected its strange how some earlies they love others they leave alone .

This is the second round of bloom for me, and it should do even more. Gall midge is supposed to like the lighter coloured flowers; and according to a German lady who spends summers here, they are the ones that taste the best.

Now you say that it is mostly the lighter coloured ones!!
