Lysimachia Beaujolais.....

Looks better than mine. I bought three this spring. They took ages to grow. I do have flowers on them now, but only about half the size of yours. Its been pretty cold here so far this year, so everything is slow. My roses are still not flowering, and the blue poppies are in full flow which is very late. It will soon be July! Ah well, we cant change the weather.

It has been a struggle this year, the weather has been so unpredictable, we were very lucky when the Norwegians came to visit the garden it was a perfect June day!! was I thankful!O:-)
I am sure your garden will eventually catch up, and we will be enjoying your photographs when everything in our gardens has finished..K.:-*

Well, we'll see. My first garden was really at its best in spring time. I had loads of rhododendrons and shrubs. The second one was very all-year around (well, that was the plan) because it was so close to the house and we had the conservatory. This one, having more herbaceous plants and roses, tends to be at its best during August and September. But I'm happy with it as it is right now. Just looking forward to my roses. :)

We were discussing the roses over lunch today.......and I asked Peter to pick his top 5 from the garden, and we compared notes.....1 being the most favourite........his top was Rhapsody in Blue, because it came from a small cutting that he took

Ooh..a tough question. Top one is easy...Chartreuse De Parme. I think Graham Thomas would be no.2. The Poet's Wife, 3. No. 4 Reine des Violettes, and 5 possibly Scented Garden. But that could all change tomorrow. Like you, I love all my scented Roses. It was warm enough for the scent to be carried in the air today...bliss!

Our poor roses have suffered in the rain, it has been unrelenting this last week...
