I have a cornus controversa variagata otherwise known as the wedding cake tree. I am totally jealous of yours now as I've had mine 3 yrs and it has made little to no growth! I love this type of cornus. I also planted an Eddie's white wonder, hoping that will be a little faster.

Hi PL I bought this from GW Live I think 2009, didn't have a label but the man I bought it from said it was the shrub rather than tree so deduced it was alternifolia from photos, it's getting big now but was slow growing to start with, I do love it though :-))
