Penstemon

Very nice, colour makes a nice change, mine are mainly pink and red

I was so pleased with my pink Penstemon, bought a packet of mixed seed, must prick them out and keep those slugs off them.

I grew a couple of new ones from seed this year , Hirsutus and Ovatus they're planted out but can't remember which are which now! ,the slugs have had a little nibble of mine.

The flowers seem to go on and on all summer.

I take cuttings from mine, strike easily, I find it useful as they are not always really hardy are they. Never thought of growing from seed.

They do don't they if inremember to deadhead :-)
Yes I try to remember to take cuttings, easy from seed too :-) Tall bi coloured Sensation was the first I ever grew from seed still have it in the garden too.

Love the colour of this one....

I love it! Very pretty colour. I have a weakness for bell shaped flowers.

Never thought about collecting seed from mine, I must try and remember.

Do you find they come true to colour from seed? Simbad.

I've only grown them from bought seed Siris and they do,Tall bicolored Sensation I collected seed from the garden and grew but they're mixed colours anyway.
I bought a new one last week another dwarf one like this but pink flowers , no label and the only one so don't know its name .
