Caledonia x Crocodile Jaws

Caledonia x Crocodile Jaws

My favourite shade of yellow is this lemon yellow, and love the green throat.

I agree..I love the self coloured ones the most. Mine are producing some good numbers of flower stems this year, which is a relief after the 'no show' last year. But last year was so so grey and so so cold. Thank goodness at least we've had 'some' sunshine this year.

While there is a need for the solid coloured ones, you can only have a limited number of each before they begin to look alike. I find that the patterned ones change from flower to flower on the same plant, so there are surprises all the time.
Summer isn't quite really to show up here. It's a lot warmer, but overcast with a high dew point that gets everything above ground wet while allowing below ground to dry out.

I know. It also causes a type of rust that shows up in the spring or late autumn. Not the daylily rust, but a different type that goes away in the summer.
