Golden Showers

You have round stepping stone in your lawn, just like me. Oh, and the Rose is well chosen.

I had this in my previous house! It's great just flowers and flowers and flowers... ;o)

And growing beside it is Graham Thomas honeysuckle Tracy.

And the other Arch has Gertrude Jecklle and Varigated Honeysuckle.

Ahhh Gertrude Jekyll is one of my absolute favourite roses... ;o)

When I still lived at home with my parents I also grew this rose, it's name has stayed with me for over 40 years! Just like a shrub rose called "Fred Loads" which can grow up to 2m (6ft) which I also grew at the same time. In fact when we returned from Spain 16 years ago I was able to buy this rose, unfortunately it never grew nearly as well as the 3 bushes that I planted under the living room window. These still grew well & flowered very well up to about five years ago when one of my brothers, who still lives in the house, dug them up.
