Fire Dance, Still in a pot, awaiting the perfect position in the garden is now flowering. Member of the Witch Hazel family. Might need winter protection in colder areas.

Have just pruned some of the underneath branches, which had died....due to the wet weather, but it still looks good.

My brother uses it for a hedge and it's stunning when it flowers, according to my father. I've never visited his place and never seen the hedge, therefore I googled it to see how it looks like. Here are some images I've found if you're interested:

Oh, Wow, TM, that is some spectacular hedge. Thank you for the link. I was going to try to grow mine up the fence, as high as it will grow, bit tender, likes acidic soil, so we will see.
