Trads seem to like my garden and was looking for some more blues. Just wish the label hadn't perished during my week of traipsing through the country and getting put out and back in the van again inthe morning! At least I managed not to leave any plants behind this time! Another one from Herterton.

The trad that I have is T. Sweet Kate. The foliage goes from red (in the cold) to lime/yellow green. the flowers are extremely large and blue (for a trad) and they are very numerous. It's a pretty showy plant..I'd recommend it.

Looking again at the pic I took of the near perished name tag, it looks like it cldve been a trad. virginia, colour fits. But looking up trad sweet kate, I'm well impressed. Lovely plant, those leaves are really yellow! and apparently turn red under the right weather conditions, so I read.
