Daylily 'Madge Cayse' x 'All American Windmill'

It's parents must be really beautiful then.

They are Siris , mums a very reliably double in an apricot colour and dad's a light polychrome orange UFO , I'm being ruthless so I have room for this year's, so many amazing crosses from Wylie's seed, unless it makes me go wow it's out ;-)

I am keeping only about 20 new seedlings this year, and there are several from last year that are going. Most get rejected before I even know who the parents are; and I am becoming very particular with the crosses I am making.

Space becoming a problem? Know the feeling.

You know this was really in the to go list but today it's opened with pinched petals! and 7 inch flowers colours even nicer too! , picture later.

Obviously Daylilies can be slow to show their full potential. Look forward to seeing the new pic.
