Yes, such a lovely scent. I almost gave up on this plant, then read (on here) that it would be happier in ericaceous compost, so re-potted it: it's saying 'that's better' !

That's good to hear Sheila! ;o) I've had several Gardinia plants but have never been able to keep them very long... My problem may well be down to watering I should perhaps use rain water, but don't have a water butt... :o(

Are they not hardy, Tracey? Mine lives outside most of the year, so does get rained on . . . just goes into the greenhouse when it's very cold.

I think I've been very unlucky with them... :o(
