Julia . . . sadly, I can't remember! But I do know that it really wants to grow, because last autumn I pulled it out, but must have missed a bit - and now I'm quite glad :)

Yes, very tenacious, and they seed around.

I can smell its delicious fragrance from here. We are so dry and warm, I have never seen it in Vermont. Climate change upon us.

I wish, Posy! Sadly, these have no scent - unlike the annual sweet pea which is matchless :)

Have grown sweet peas in a large deep terracotta pot this year. It's the first time in years that I've grown them - Wish they'd hurry up and start flowering...
