Day Lily ' Longstocking '

Yes they are lovely. I didn't initially like spiders until I saw a real one. Photos just don't do them justice.

So Siris, does spider mean spidery, lol, slimmer on longer stems.

Look at that !!, well done on getting it to flower in its first year, whenever I split this one it always takes a year to settle before flowering again, I have three clumps of this it increases so quickly that is going to be cut down to one this year I want to move a couple of others into the daylily bed.
The length of a spiders petals must be at least four times its width to be classed as a spider usually measured on the longest bottom petal :-), then there are the UFO's ( unusualt forms )of course ;-)

Too late to go measuring now, so is this classified as a spider, now we have the definition, Simbad?
