Yes they are lovely. I didn't initially like spiders until I saw a real one. Photos just don't do them justice.

Look at that !!, well done on getting it to flower in its first year, whenever I split this one it always takes a year to settle before flowering again, I have three clumps of this it increases so quickly that is going to be cut down to one this year I want to move a couple of others into the daylily bed.
The length of a spiders petals must be at least four times its width to be classed as a spider usually measured on the longest bottom petal :-), then there are the UFO's ( unusualt forms )of course ;-)
