Clematis viticella Alba

Clematis viticella Alba (Clematis viticella Alba (Viticella Group clematis))

A viticella Clematis with white flowers completely covering the right side and top of the pergola above the late sunshine seat. With some Campanula. There is also under that lot a Rouge Cardinal Clematis, I hope still.

Look how many flowers you have?. Do you feed your clematis regularly. I like the viticella best.

No Dawn, I don't feed at all, but try to water regularly when very dry, if I remember. The ones on my pergola in full sun, Piilu and Josephine look dire now, hot and tired. Group 2 pruning, that is cut back carefully now some flowered shoots.

Thanks. They thrive in your conditions then I feed irregularly and water regularly. The summer is taking its toll.

Dawn, that's not to say you shouldn't feed and water, just that I don't get around to it, unless the plant looks on its last legs, which is probably too late.
