Haven't We Grown.

We haven't seen the male at all. The female is feeding the 3 youngsters all by herself, very dedicated.

This female is not in the least bothered by us, but she is so busy foraging. We had lots of males earlier in the season all squabbling, Stumpy no tail feathers, but no males now. Wonder where they have all gone.

So nice to see the babies. ?

The last one has just left the nest this evening, I know because it crashed straight into the side window of the conservatory, hopped(hobbled) into the border.

Hope it's okay, when they fledge is a worrying time

Yes Dawn, it is sitting on the back of the appos seat, crying to be fed.
