'Sebastion the Crab'

'Sebastion the Crab'

Another new one this year. It was one of those "must haves", and I finally got it from Eurocallis.com. The plan is to use it with some spider types.

Wowee!! now this is something I'd like to achieve !! I can dream lol.
All my Cameroon's x Sanford Sanford Star Search are going in the compost this afternoon they are all very very dark purple with a watermark, but not that velvety purple of Cameroon's oh and one random pale pink with a watermark , I'm finding it much easier with my crosses as I can compare to the parents and see there is no improvement. I was hoping for the colour banding of Sanford Star Search in the watermark, oh well room for a few more seedlings every, cloud has a silver lining lol ;-)

It will probably be used for its pollen.
I spent the day getting my winter-growing bulbs ready to start growing. I started a lot of seeds last fall, and sorting through the dirt trying to find tiny bulbs was work. Weeds had gotten in there, so I had to be careful. I also got some new bulbs from France, so I have been getting those in pots (mostly Moraea species). I got some Scilla peruviana Alba, buy 5 get 5 free. They came in a potato sack, they are so large. They substituted one, I ordered Cyanella lutea and they replaced it with Tecophilaea cyanocrocus. It is supposed to be an intense blue and not offered in their regular catalog, so we'll see...

Tecophilaea cyanocrocus. funny enough I was looking at these last week but at £ 4.00 for 1 !!!

I paid €10 for 5. The Ferraria bulbs had leaves, but no flowers, and multiplied so there are 5 bulbs now.
