This year, mine is about 6' across! I think I'll have to dig some out this autumn! Its a real stunner Dawn, I'm glad you like it.

A good name for this one.....

I hope we get an Indian summer Dd. ?
Yes, love it Karen, thank you for introducing me to it?. Hmmm if mine gets as big as yours, something will have to be moved around it. So a good mulch over winter then as the roots are brittle?

Yes they will need it where you are Dawn.....we lost quite a few one bad winter...

Oh yes..you'd better do something. Two years ago I had upturned hanging baskets filled with straw over them. Last year I didn't bother. But if the forecast was for a prolonged freeze I will get out the baskets!

Oooh, off to look that one up now! Did you see my 'Rock N' Roll' Dawn?

5 Aug, 2016

Its very similar to Indian Summer isn't it...does it have a more dwarfind habit Dawn...only Indian S is massive!

Just looked at your Rock n Roll Karen, now that is special :-)
It was an impulse buy, from the same nursery as Indian Summer, I havent read the label lol. Currently it is the same size as Indian Summer. I will check.

Would be nice if it was a bit smaller :)

I will check the label tomoz :-) Or I might go out later, so muggy here, its actually been a lovely day. I wish it would rain though, we are never happy are we.

Lucky you...grey and miserable here. I've been preparing for the winter, it feels very autumnal. Rain tomorrow too. :(

Oh Karen, your summer was the last week in May then :-( Your summer hasnt been as overcast as others though, has it? I love autumn but not ready for it yet. Rain is good for the plants though :-)

Well, it has been a darned sight better than last summer Dawn....I'm still getting over the trauma of that one! lol! :) I love autumn now. As a young person I hated it, but now it feels almost like a relief....I don't have to keep wishing it was warmer any more once autumn comes.....;) But being serious though...Scotland is wonderful in the Autumn and we get lost of visitors at that time of year.

I was obsessed with summer too when I was young but these days I like all the seasons, especially autumn.
