Gladiolus papilio

Gladiolus papilio (Gladiolus papilio (Goldblotch Gladiolus))

A species Gladiolus which tends to be a bit invasive. This individual, I think was masquerading as a crocus corm because it is in totally the wrong place. It will have to come out.

Tends to be invasive? It ran faster than Usain Bolt through my garden!

I have tried to keep it in a clump, but if I dig the adjacent ground, I think that I inadvertently move corms elsewhere. This singleton is where there should be a line of crocuses. The clump is not flowering yet.

Oh never mind Dd, if my clump is still with me, you can have this stray if you want.

An invasive problem that I would be happy about.
