The common, evergreen blue and white types everyone around here has, have finished blooming; and now my near black types are opening.

This isn't the trumpet type, rather a pendulous type, and the first open flowers are beginning to fade. It is also deciduous. Next year I should have pink and a blue double in bloom that I got this year.

I did have a white miniature but it hasn't appeared for a couple of years so I think maybe the frosts had it.

I got this from Bali-Hai nursery on e-Bay, and she is located in Ireland (a huge selection of Agapanthus and hostas).

I've never seen them this dark before. Please post a pic when it's fully open.
