I thought gourds were mostly used for ornamental purposes... but you've started me reading about them, Amy. It's one of those plants whose uses seem endless. Thanks for posting this... I think I might try a few in next season's garden. :-)

You can can cut the top off like a lid then remove the seeds stuff them with whatever filling you like put the lid back on and bake them Lori ,very nice !
