My Bailey's Marvel Mango from August 2015. (Mangifera indica (Mango) Bailey's Marvel.)

It later developed a tan blush around September. I thought I posted this last year. Or I gave it a title that search can't find.
There were about 9 fruit in total.
It skipped fruiting this year after bearing in 2014,and 2015. Yet,its grown a whole lot this year. So,the tradeoff is worth it for my 2016 expectations.

It's best to get the good growth and branch structure before you start getting a lot of fruit.

I noticed the fruit on the mango trees here have small fruit that size, already. It's from the second bloom of this year. The fruit has gotten so large fast because of the hot weather. It's really hot here tonight. It's going to get even hotter for this whole week! Yuck!!!

Yep,102 for you. 80 for me the whole week. Fine with that.
If my summers were much hotter? I doubt- no,I'm sure- much of my plants would be too much to keep. This whole drought thing..unlike 1977,where everything went the other way and plenty of water?, now it might not.

Yes, it's hot and very humid! The dew point here right now is about 70 degrees! At least the dew points in the SF Bay Area are almost always in the 50's which is very comfortable.

Yes, not sure how much worse this drought will become. I'm really hoping for lots of rain this coming winter! We cannot tolerate another dry, hot winter!
