Motty...try my method. Put the plants outside all winter (they like a hard winter) and then stick them in the greenhouse around March. They need heat to make flowers. Keep them in the warmth until they start to flower and then if you want to you can bring them outside and enjoy them, or you can leave them inside. But put them outside for the winter. It works for me. Mine has flowered by July both years I've done this. TBH it's not looking great at the moment as it was in too small a pot, but it is flowering well!

Sheila we were given a standard Hibiscus which was pink many years ago, OH took a cutting, and created another standard, he gave the neighbours the original standard.......ours has changed colour!! but the neighbours is still pink? as for the name I really can't help you....... sorry
Motty ours took a time to flower, but does now, most years, it has been in the ground about five years!

Its lovely Dd...i have 2...'turkish delight' and i dont know the name of the other one...They have been in pots for about 3 years and have never flowered...This Spring i put both in the ground...still no flowers...maybe next year...Has OH any tips?...:>)
