I know Linda, it is warm here but quite cloudy and we are desperate for rain, the ground is cracking open. Sorry your summer has been so poor, that's the British weather for you, maybe you will get some sunshine later on. :O)

They're gorgeous, however did you make them?

I just followed instructions and pictures which were in my Landscape magazine. They were easy really if I could make them anyone could. lol. they are pretty when lit up did post a picture not very good one though but at least you can get the idea.

Well I don't know about anyone being able to make them...I couldn't for one. I think they're great. Don't sell yourself short. Speaking of which, I bet you could sell them, they'd go a storm on a craft stall.

was showing my youngest them today, she teaches and works with children with special needs and disabilities and loved them. We were thinking that they could manage to make them with help from adults and sell them for school funds. I think if they painted and then relieved some of the paint from the glass jars the t.lights would be extra special glowing through and make them even more pretty. Will let you know how they get on if they do make them. Honestly they are very simple to make but very effective!
