She survived the winter, although I did lift her and for greenhouse protection.

It had been raining so was too wet to get closer, I had showered and changed ?. I took this out of the greenhouse beginning of may and planted out but it still got frosted but was ok. Yep, lovely but tender.
Cuttings very good idea Kathy, hmmm I should take some too.

I am told a) this grows better from cuttings than old plants, and b) slugs love the new shoots.

Thanks Andrew. I think some of the salvias like to be grown as an annual. Slugs, oh no, not something else they love.
