Potted Cannas in the front garden.

They look great Mike. Mine are in the garden but they seem really slow this year. Do you know whether they get weaker as they get older?

Chris, I think that they get stronger as they get older. I didn't have much luck when I planted them in the ground. Three years ago I put them in pots and they did much better. All i do in the fall is cut them back and I bring the pots down to my cold cellar. I don't dig them up any more. In the spring when I go down to bring them out they are usually starting to sprout back up.

Good idea. I will try that. I;ve got a frost free cellar.
