Plumeria

Great photo. Thats a variety I would try.

This is a 10' or 12' tree. It's loaded with flowers.

The first time I ever saw this plant was as a desktop background when my wife bought a laptop. I was impressed by it & even got her to send me the photo by email & I then installed it as my desktop background for some time!

Shame I can't grow it here on the balcony at home! :-((

It actually grows to a tree here in San Diego, CA. I have a 15 (4.6m) tall with a spread of 24' (7.3m) tree in my back yard. It's a pink/red variety.

Plumeria is a very common tree/shrub (depending on variety) here.

I have several in the ground. I think due to our extreme, historic drought here they're not blooming too well this year (in my yard, anyway). The ones I see in my neighborhood are blooming flawlessly!

I understand Andy. I have things that are looking a bit thirsty as I do my best to help the ones that need more.
I actually missed that I was underwatering a tree Aloe. When I cleaned up all around it the ground was bone dry.
NO wonder it has leaves 1/3 the size of normal.
California summers are hard on all plants once you take away the water. Lethal!

Yes, it's especially lethal to thirsty tropicals.
