Your borders are beautiful, and the grass looks so green and lush, sets the borders off wonderfully.

More or less yes. It's been drier these last few weeks as we've had no rain but we're in a valley with the brook running through. Were also in a frost pocket as the land lies low. The woodland is dry too at the moment, usually sludgy.

Does that mean your pond is natural, that is unlined. Oh, what a dream, but loads of land drains to take off the surplus water into the brook. Frost pocket, umm, no tenders, pity.

Yes, lots of land drains to the brook, we get everyone's water but its all about balance but works well with the pond. The pond can vary in height but unwanted excess goes down the open ditch back to the brook. When we get storms, we get the lot but soon goes as we are set up for it. You are very astute, its like you've been here lol.

Frosts not good. Start early and finish late, we're not safe until the end of may, very annoying
