Schizostylis 'Mrs Hegarty' just started flowering. I have had a few red but this is the first of the named other colours. Lots grown from seed about to flower too. Can't wait!! Just one white one would do me.

Yes Siris, alba as is the norm for white, but elusive, so expensive.

Have you ever grown from seed?

Yes Siris, I have lots just waiting to flower. At the moment they're are red, major, and salmon pink like Mrs Hegarty and Fenland daybreak. I have quite a few red that have fallen and seeded in other pots too. Very easy to grow.

Never felt the need to grow from seed, they increase so easily themselves. Just have RedMajor, a pale pink and a dark pink.

I did it originally when I only had a couple of small plants and gave seed to my friend. Now they just seed themselves or as you say, spread on their own. I did buy mixed seed which included white but still waiting for that to happen.

Yes, elusive white, I bought corms of Tigrinium, which showed white , but not to be.
