The First Fence Panel facing East has a Cotoneaster horizontalis, the second an Abutilon megapotanicum variegatum with a Campsis radicans. The bird box was the one the Tree Bumblebees took over, which OH has cleaned out and given a new coat of preservative.

There is a clematis Freckles growing through the Cotoneaster, which is very accommodating. It is a difficult dim corner, the first Panel. Second panel, quite sheltered, gets early morning sun.

Campsis is so exotic looking. It can't look more tropical.
There are two in my neighborhood...just as exotic as the evergreen Mexican Trumpet that also grows here.
