Blooming for the first time in my garden. I got this last year, and all summer it did nothing. Dormant type, so it will die back soon after the scape finishes. A large, 8" across flower.

The colour is so strong, I had to wait for some clouds to hide the sun. The camera kept oversaturating on the orange.

That is a great colour for so late in the season!!, Here any that rebloom always look washed out .

It is still warm enough to need shorts during the day; and upper 60's at night - which helps the flowers to do their best.
