Dahlia

Oh wow. Rudbeckia gas done well and the dahlia are superb. I think this must be Rudbeckia fulgida var. deamii. ?

That was it knew you'd told me the name :-), on the right at the front is a bit of my Goldsturm which looks similar but the leaves on yours are different and yours has made a good clump much quicker too,
That dahlia was big enough when I dug it up last year so think it'll be staying put this year it's humongous!! I'll mulch it and cross my fingers lol.

I just love the red and yellow together. Those dahlias look wonderful. Tried growing some years ago but they just became slug food :-(

Yep mulch and give it a go. That Rudbeckia is neat, I have to say, lasts ages too.
