Orbea lepida

 Orbea lepida

Hywel, very kindly sent me some cutting material last year, it was a bit hit and miss on how to propagate , as first attempt the stems rotted as I had planted in compost, second attempt I filled a tray with compost covered that in grit and just laid the pieces of Orbea lepidaon on top in a half shaded spot in the greenhouse with a weekly mist of water nothing else and low and behold a root appeared. So I now know how easy it is to propagate.

They live on the kitchen window sill full sun most of the day. The flower is amazing.

Thanks again Hywel
