Plumbago, one year on. (Ceratostigma plumbaginoides)

It is a year since I bought two squashed plug plants. Look at them now. The dwarf, Ceratostigma plumbaginoides 12" tall, the leaves turn red in Autumn.

Lovely. I used to have one but it disappeared without a trace....I blame rabbits. I love that plant.

This is the second time I have grown this small shrub, the first one about 20 years ago I lost, maybe to frost.

Me too Siris, used to grow it many years ago, was just reading up on our Ceratastigma willmottianum, before it has a winter mulch!!
