Fall colour. It is brilliant red in spring and pale green with pink highlights in summer. This acer is known for its shrubby look.

Thank you Amy. Very slow growing. I have it for many years now and I do not think it grew an inch. This is one of my Japanese maples which usually does not burn in full sun. Some of others do.... more or less.
