Japanese maple Villa Toranto

The spring foliage of Villa-Taranto is pink, turning green for summer and then orange in autumn.This picture doesn't do it justice. It is hard to photograph. It glows in the sun.

It's a lovely woodland scene, great to get so much colour from one plant. Acers are always so attractive.

Thank you Feverfew. I'd like to note that the red coloured plant above this maple is actually young growth of Nadina domestica....it grows very fast in that spot. This is a small section of our property I started to develop (originally with my OH protest) and call it 4 suns garden. There used to be some dying trees there before.
I have it packed with all different foliage. Maybe too much but I do not expect that all will survive.
