Pink Quill only blooms once. Mother plant eventually (could take 2 years) dies. Pups, or babies, appear at the base of the mother plant.
Member of the bromeliad family.
The Pink Quill Plant is the only tillandsia which can be growing in soil(maybe mixed with bark).
In my picture you see bright pink bracts, the flowers are blue and usually do not last very long.
