I can't think for the life of me what this is called!!

Almost looks like Loropetalum with its fringe flower. But that's only my impression. I am looking to buy one (red/pink variety). Have no luck to source it locally.

I just realized that Loropetalum does not bloom at this time and the flowers in Homebird's picture look more like catkins than fringe, I think my mind is obsessed with the plant I cannot find. Of course Hywel .....as always :-)
