Clematis cirrhosa .Freckles

There is much more purple freckling to your flowers than mine, I like yours more.

Cutting from the original? In theory should be the same, but different position, different soil, who knows.
Don't think mine is flowering yet, can't see as it has left the pergola arch and gone up to the top of an adjacent Eleagnus. I really must cut right back.

Ours started flowering a month ago, but got wrecked by the fencer removing some trellis which we were not happy with....such a gorgeous clematis, lovely pic Amy....

Oh No what a pain , Is the root still there Angela fingers crossed it will shoot up another year ....

Yes thankfully Amy, just ruined all the flowering shoots, it is growing away again......

Phew ! that's a relief it will be back to its old self next year ...
