Have to be quick and just dig it up and pot in any old compost (not a large pot) its not about getting it growing at this time of year just want it to tick over , frost free as sheila has already mentioned , window sill is fine in a cool room ... just check for slugs etc when you dig them up and keep on the dry side .... best to take cutting from this in spring , easy to do.

Thank you for the tips. I will follow closely. My back bedroom window sounds like just the place.

Isn,t it fun? It just blooms and blooms, no pests or problems and very forgiving if you foget to water. Cuttings almost always take. And the scented leaves will tickle your nose

Keep frost-free and fairly dry. I water mine just once a week (or even less) and they are in a cool greenhouse where the temperature doesn't go below 5 degrees.
