Bearing Fruit
Comments on this photo
IT usually bears a few berries each year. They don't last very long for some hungry bird.

Is this a ferocious grower? I love the variegated leaves. Do the Jap Beetles like it? And does it vine? Lastly, it looks beautiful.

Thank you Wells. This is a well behaved simple shrub that tops out at about 6 feet. It grows very slowly and may only need slight pruning once a year, if any. It's an upright, free standing, woody, evergreen. It drought tolerant and will not out grow it's allotted space. Easy to maintain. I've not issues with beetles or anything else. Full sun - partial sun for optimal health. Only produces berries occasionally, if there's a nearby male plant - Silver King.
