And after 10 year ( 10ft, which would be too big and too wide anyway for my garden). The same happened to my apple trees on dwarfing rootstock. After 25+ years had to remove one and take the tops off the others.

Its an issue Sue...but conifers can be pruned..,I didnt realise that until I learned it from Four Seasons Garden which ised to be on here. They prune all of theirs and give advice on how to do it.
