don't usually, its a genetic blip in that region on the corm. a nice like quirk.
the original parent was all white flowered ans every year one area produced white flowers with a magenta stripe through it.

Do you think if you took seed from a (white with magenta striped )flower you might eventually stabilise that trait? That would be interesting. Sbg.

no as they were the seeds I actually took it from. There is just a range of colours some plain others graded. that's the 'trouble' with hybrids they don't come true.
