African violets and Phalaenopsis must be your thing, you are regularly showing us beauts.

Thanks Siris, this time of year, they're all I have to keep my green thumb happy. I finally discovered how to propagate new African Violet plants from leaf cuttings. It's fun.

Do you grow Streptocarpus, they too can be propagated from leaf cuttings, fun isn't it.

I don't have a streptocarpus yet, but I was looking at one online yesterday called "Black Cherry Cola." You can guess the color - absolutely stunning! . It's definitely on my shopping list. Do you have any? Yes, very fun I have a plant nursery on my kitchen window sill.

Paul, have a look at a blog I wrote "Overdue visit to Dibleys Ruthin North Wales" Feb 2013. (When you've got some time!) Dibleys are very much a family run nursery, and are hidden away in a tiny village in North Wales, not far from where my Parents-in-Law lived.
Dibleys are the leading British Nursery for growing and introducing new Streptocarpus plants. They are Chelsea Gold Medal winners, and have been for many years now. Streps are lovely plants, easy to grow and take cuttings from and come in a huge range of colours and sizes! They are a very addictive plant! ;o)

It's a beauty! I really like African Violets, yet I don't have any here in San Diego. I used to grow many A. Violets, years ago when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. I used to have many Streptocarpus hybrids, also, which I used to grow outside. Unfortunately, the A. Violets couldn't be grown outside in the SF Bay Area like here in San Diego.

You should definitely check out the violet barn https://www.violetbarn.com/what-we-grow/african-violets/

They have a huge selection of AV & Streps. You can order online & they aren't expensive, even the exotic looking ones. Mine live on my kitchen counter. I really appreciate them this time of year.

No Bathgate, I have hardly any house plants because I mistreat them, that is don't attend to them. The Kitchen window cill is used for pots of seeds and cuttings when young.

I'll have to check out the website. Thanks! :>))
