Ok..I'm holding on. The "Wettest year on Record" has really stretched out the ripening. It flowered back in July!

When it warms up they should ripen. :>))
I can't believe the huge, damaging storms we've been getting here in San Diego over the last 4 days. As I write this is, it's extremely stormy (very windy and rainy) here in San Diego.

They said "Biggest storm in Los Angeles in 7 years to come" A few days ago. Its still that?

They had up to 6 inches of rain in the Los Angeles area (beach areas not mountains, which received much more) just yesterday! In Northern San Diego County more than 3 inches in many areas, yesterday. The winds were gusting over 50 mph, also. The deserts are getting a lot of rain, also. That's very unusual.
Originally, the meteorologist said 3 - 6 inches of rain for the six day period from last Thursday through Tuesday (coastal San Diego County). The new predictions are some coastal areas of San Diego may get up to 7 or 9 inches from all the storms. That's just below the annual rainfall. It's very soggy here now. It's very good for the drought, though.

Terratoonie,
That's a tremendous amount of rain for San Diego. This is the kind of rain we were suppose to get last year, from the strong El Nino. lol! I hope our drought will be over soon in San Diego!

Delonix ...
all around the world, we are so reliant on the weather not being too extreme...

It's been very stormy here since the middle of December. We've been waiting for good rains for years. It's finally here, instead of the very hot and dry weather we've been getting in San Diego for several winters. Yay!!! :>))
